The purpose of postulancy period is to give candidates themselves the opportunity of gaining first-hand knowledge of our way of life, and to give those responsible in the Order a chance of assessing their suitability. During this time the educational traits of candidate is observed, nurtured and promoted. It is to be a time of gradual transition from secular life to religious life in the novitiate.
